Spring semester is in full swing with midterms just around the corner.

Speaking of things around the corner, our first spring concert is coming up very soon! Dragon Scales will be performing in the choir concert on March 6th at 7:30pm in Gaede Theater. You'll also get to enjoy the melodies by the MSUM University Choir, Concert Choir, and the acapella group Solfire.

New Members! New Music! New Memories!

Dragon Scales choses to ring in the new year with three amazing new members! Welcome Blake Alonzo, Dominic St. Marie, and Griffen Dykstra. These fellas each have a background in music, playing various instruments such as guitar and trombone. They also sing for the MSUM Concert Choir, and will be great additions to our group!

We are out for Winter Break! Whoop! Whoop!

This was an amazing semester for Dragon Scales. We snatched up every gig we got, entering the New Year with six more performances under our belt. That's double what we did last Spring! Thank you to everyone supporting us, we couldn't have done it without you.

With finals week coming up, the Dragon Scales members are ready to finish the semester strong!

Made up of both Music Majors and Non-Music Majors, Dragon Scales is a hard working, dedicated group with a wide variety of interests. As our various classes come to a close, we will wrap up the year by performing at the Celebration of the Arts! This event will showcase the many ensembles MSUM has to offer.

As we prepare for upcoming performances, we reflect on the boundless support we have received from the community.

Dragon Scales has seen an overwhelming outpour of love from our listeners in the Fargo-Moorhead area and beyond. At our recent performance at the Afterglow Party in Downtown Fargo, we were heartily embraced by important members of the choral community.

With another concert, "Common Ground," complete, we just can't wait to perform again! Lucky for us, we have another gig coming up very soon. We will be preforming our favorite numbers, old and new.

Our first performance of Fall 2024 is in the books!

The Dragon's Got Talent gig was a hit! It was a joy to jam together again. Now, we will pour our efforts into preparing for our next concert, "Common Ground."

The concert will be at Gaede Stage, held on Thursday, October 17th at 7:30pm!

We are proud to introduce five new members to the Dragon Scales family!

On Thursday, August 29th, we had our first meeting of 2024! This meeting served as a welcome party for our new singers. Averi Benson, Liv Douglas, Ellie Larsen, Piper Cooper, and Ben Christman, congratulations! We are excited to work with you!

The first year of Dragon Scales is down in the books!

We can't thank everybody enough for supporting this group and its efforts in its first year of being. We've made many memories and have firmly established ourselves as a student-led vocal ensemble on campus.

Dragon Scales will be coming back in the fall with some fresh music and faces to perform the vocal jazz styles you all love.
