"I’m Sylvia! I’m originally from Platteville, Wisconsin which is about 9 hours from Moorhead. At MSUM, I work for housing and as a math tutor and am involved in Math Club, National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association, and Dragon Scales! Outside of school, I love spending time reading, writing in my journals, and watching movies and playing games with my friends. Some fun facts about me are that I showed pigs at the fair in middle and high school, and that I was once the Easter bunny. I helped John Lahlum start this group in spring of 2023 because I love vocal jazz and missed performing with my high school jazz ensemble — it was the best decision ever!"
